How do I book with a Groupon?Use the online booking tool and follow these instructions 1. Choose the service that corresponds to your Groupon. Example: If you have a 60 min Therapeutic Groupon choose 60 min Custom session on the site 2. Choose the date and time 3. Go through the payment screens until you get to the last screen which asks for your payment method and choose "Pay in Person", note that you have a Groupon 4. You're booked!
-
Are you licensed?Yes! All massage therapists are required to be licensed in the state of Florida. You can check by going to https://appsmqa.doh.state.fl.us/MQASearchServices/HealthCareProviders , my license number is MA91892
-
How far in advanced should I book? You can book at any time as long as I have availabilty, but it is best to book on a regular schedule. You can book up to 60 days in advanced.
-
What should I expect on my first visit? When you arrive we will do our intial consultation, I will use the digital intake form that you would have filled out before the appointment. We will address any concerns you have and I will give you a little information about my treatment plan. You will then enter the bodywork room and I'll allow you to get comfortable before we start the session. You will undress to your comfort level, see below. After the session, we will discuss further treatment as well as rebooking.
-
Do I have to undress? You NEVER have to do anything you are uncomfortable with. I am able to modify a massage for any level of comfort, but for most styles of massage it is best performed with less clothes on, because clothing may restrict the flow of the movement. If you are comfortable with nudity that is the most preferred level, though you will be covered throughout the massage and your genitals will never be exposed. Most people tend to leave their underwear on. If you do prefer a massage fully dressed, I would recommend getting the assisted stretch. It includes "massage" techniques but is designed to be done with clothes on. Make sure you wear loose clothing.
-
Do you accept insurance or FSA/HSA cards?I do not bill insurance at this time. As long as it has a VISA/Mastercard logo these cards are accepted. Though you will not be able to use them to book through this website. When booking choose the "Pay in Person" option.
-
How much should I tip?Just like any service, it is never required. Think of massage the same as eating at a restaurant, where tipping 15-25% is customary.
-
What is your cancellation policy?I strive to provide the best experience for you and that includes physical and mental preparation for each service. Out of courtesy to myself and other guests my policy is that appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 12 hours of the start time will be charged 50% of the missed service.
